Excited to go to University, but have not decided what to take with you. Well, speaking of this I remember how it was for me when I first got to my University. I was loaded up with one trolley, one luggage bag, and one Backpack. It is really important to have a clear picture of what to take and what to leave as you may end up leaving essential stuff and packing unnecessary items on your way to the university.
Here in this guide, I have mentioned the important checklist which will help you decide your baggage properly. So let’s get started.
Important documents
As you are visiting first time after getting selected, you have to pack all the important documents. You will be required to submit a copy of the important document in order to complete your admission and accommodation process.
- Passport
- Bank Passbook
- Academic Transcripts(School Certificates)
- University documents
- PAN Card
- Aadhar Card(for Indian resident)
- Driving License(if available)
- Passport-sized photographs
Note: Please cross-check all the documents required by your university, in order to avoid any mishappening. Also, I would suggest you make an online backup of all your document to keep them handy in case of need. You can use Google Drive for keeping an online backup of your document.
Stationery Items
- Pen and Pencils
- Eraser
- Notebook
- Highlighter
- Diary
- Scissors

Electronic gadgets
- Mobile Phone and Charger
- Laptop and Charger
- USB Drive
- Headphones
Note: Handle electrical items carefully and take electrical gadgets which you will use.
